Neurofeedback Treatment for Anxiety & Panic Attacks

Non-Medicated Relief from Anxiety & Panic Attacks

Feelings of anxiety and worry are all too common in today’s society, affecting approximately 33.7% of Americans. While many Western institutions have turned to costly and addictive anxiety medications for treatment, neurofeedback is proven to reduce and even eliminate the underlying issues causing anxiety and panic attacks.

Neurofeedback for Anxiety in Research

A recent study found that neurofeedback treatment can bridge connectivity gaps within an individual’s brain, reducing–and even eliminating–the symptoms of anxiety and panic attacks.

Patient Success Stories

‘My symptoms included test anxiety and short-term memory loss. I tried therapy and had an IEP in school. After only seven Neurofeedback sessions, I noticed that my anxiety was better. How Does Neurofeedback for Anxiety Work?

MyBrainDR uses an advanced technology known as a qEEG (Quantitative electroencephalogram), also known as a brain map, to measure and analyze the electrical impulses in each part of the brain, searching for and identifying imbalances in Beta brainwaves that may cause anxiety or panic attacks.

Once these measurements are made, a personalized training protocol will be created to correct your measured imbalances. Even better – the training is both easy and fun. All you have to do is sit back, relax, and watch your favorite show!

While you are in a training session, MyBrainDR uses sensors to measure your brainwaves. These sensors provide data that leads to audio or visual feedback changes based on your real-time brainwave activity.

If brainwave patterns are detected, like those during feelings of anxiety, the sensors will measure this and cause the show to dim. Over time, your brain recognizes these feedback signals and learns to develop new, healthier neural connections.

These new neural pathways allow you to think more calmly, resulting in reduced anxiety, and in many cases, can eliminate the panic attack symptoms!

This brain map provides specific results used to design your personal neurofeedback training sessions.

Long-Term Relief From Anxiety & Panic Attacks

Referred to as “operant conditioning,” this is a gentle, natural way of teaching the brain to function in a new, healthier manner. Everyone uses this process when learning a new activity – such as riding a bike or playing an instrument.

Once learned, the new skill is always there for you to call on in your everyday life. Even better, once your brain gets used to using these new, healthier pathways, improvements can continue long after your last neurofeedback session. The result – No More Anxiety or Panic Attacks!
